Busch, Bagpipes, Seddon Tapes
Ballade vom Neger Jim by Ernst Busch, poem read by Hans Magnus Enzensberger, Spartakus 1919 Berlin by Busch. Then side 2 of On Jones Beach by Glacial; David Watson on bagpipes accompanied by Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth) and Tony Buck (The Necks). The last 30 minutes present a small sample of reel to reel tapes by Captain Maurice Seddon recently rescued from Datchet Cottage. Thanks to James Tregaskis for laboriously transcribing the numerous tapes to a digital format.
