You Are Father Christmas, Accept It.

Yes, another slightly ‘Christmasy’ flavoured programme, but only slightly, as the big hand of the clock swivels round again and the ongoing backstop/no deal saga induces more vomiting than the seasonal parties. This show commences with Pierre Henry’s Orphée Ballet with carefully blended pieces (blended by me, not Pierre Henry, live [me] in the studio), from Francois Bayle, Braingrainhotspot, a Tom Recchion Meeuw Muzak single which samples “Did You Spend Christmas Day in Jail?” by the Reverend J.M. Gates recorded in 1929, another track by the Reverend: “Death Might Be Your Santa Claus” (cheery!) and finally “Christmas Time” by Die Christmaskameraden (the flip side of You Are Father Christmas. Accept It).
