This week’s guests are Steven Cleary; Lead Curator of Literary and Creative Recordings at the British Library, and Sandra Cross whose extensive recordings of her journal Limbo are now available via the British Library Online Sound and Moving Image catalogue. On Friday 8 November 2019, Sandra’s film Limbo, overlaid with readings from the journal, will be screened in the Knowledge Centre at the British Library 19:15 to 20:45. Free, ticket required. Steven brought a few files along to illustrate his activities at the British Library including a 100 year old recording by Herbert Beerbohm Tree and probably the first ident of Resonance from 1998, recorded from a radio just on the edge of the 3 mile transmission zone.
