Seddon Tapes D95 and D97
In which Captain Maurice Seddon discusses a collision between his motorcycle and a Vauxhall Astra at the junction of Horton Road and Ditton Road near to Datchet Cottage. Maurice talks to a witness. The tape slows down to an almost indecipherable drawl. The other tape is a long series of messages left on Maurice’s answer machine including at least one hoax call in which the caller “fears for her life”. Also included in this broadcast are tracks from Johnny Trunk’s latest release, Mechanical Keyboard Sounds: Recordings of Bespoke and Customised Mechanical Keyboards.
